Torque arm mount and tranny sensor

I was racing this weekend the bolt fell out of my torque arm clamshell mount on the transmission.

The torque arm went up and broke a sensor or something off the tranny. Does anyone know what the sensor is above the torque arm? I need a new one, as I am leaking oil out of the hole.

Also, where can I find a new bracket? I need it this week as I am going to road atlanta this weekend. Anyone know the bracket part number?

thanks!

That sensor in the tailshaft is your vehicle speed sensor (vss). Not sure about the clamshell part #.

Thanks! I found a diagram. Funny part is the speedometer still works. Or at least I thought it was working, a lot was going on.

The reverse lockout solenoid is also on the tailshaft housing:

Looks like I broke off the reverse lockout solenoid, thanks for the pic.

Re: Torque arm mount and tranny sensor

Well, I broke off the housing flush with the trans.

There is still a piece of the housing in the trans. Looks like it is held in with a slip ring?

Anyone replace this? Looks like I need to remove the slip ring and put a new housing in, followed by a solenoid? Did you get the ring out from the top, where the shifter goes in?

Any pics or help appreciated!
