Too many tranny coolers to choose from
Too many tranny coolers to choose from
i want my tranny to stay nice and cool, im gonna put in a 3000 stall soon. please help me get a good cooler that will fit nicely and work like no other. and do i really need a tranny temp gauge with this setup? thanks
I like the B&M "Hi-Tek" cooler pictured here http://www.bmracing.com/products/acc...iTekCooler.jpg The small size and integral fan gives you a lot of options as to where to mount it and it is very effective. No, I don't think you need a tranny temp gauge.

I was wondering something similar. How is the electric fan hooked up? Is it temp activated, always running, or switch? I am going need a good one too----good post,
Where are these usually mounted? In front of radiator? Do you drill--or is it straps?
