The breakage is usually (1) Too big of a 2nd gear feed hole in the valve body plate. (2) No or little accumulation. (3) Too much line pressure at light throttle openings. (4) Too large of an apply servo. I have never had a band break when everything is matched (feed hole size in the valve body plate, accumulation, apply servo, etc.). If I can be of help let me know? The Trans-Go Performance Shift kit will not harm the 2-4 band if installed correctly. Just don't add more than one washer in the 2nd gear accumulator, not necessary.
