Tips on installing stock Torque Arm
Tips on installing stock Torque Arm
I slid the front into the clamshell ....no problem
I slid it back out a lil' to get it to bolt up to the Moser... problem..
I tried getting the bottom bolts in first and left them loose...banged the bejesus out of it to get the top ones to line up with no luck.

Re: Tips on installing stock Torque Arm
I had to stick my breaker bar through the tubes on the Edelbrock I have to twist the T/A to line up the top holes. 2 people help on this -- one to twist, one to thread.
Edit -- yeah, already had a jack under rear housing to line it up that way.

Re: Tips on installing stock Torque Arm
It also helped me to put the back side on the rear housing first, and push a bolt up through the holes, then feed the other one down, and reverse the first one.
I don't have a 12-bolt, but that's how I do it on my 10-bolt.

Re: Tips on installing stock Torque Arm
After a whole hell of alot of playing, just wanted to post up what I did in order to get this bad boy in.
Car was backed up on ramps
Jack the passenger side up about 2-3"
Remove the clamshell completly from the front...torque arm needs to go UP into the tunnel
Bolt up the rear of the torque arm. If you are using a Moser rear end, USE LOCKTITE RED!
Pull down on the front of the torque arm using a large pry bar. (I used a long screw driver) Be careful not to hit those brake/fuel lines! Replace rubber mount and bolt.
