torque converter failing??

Hey need the tranny guys expertise here. Heres the deal with my Camaro. It's got the 700R4 tranny in it. Heres my problem. When it shifts most of of the time it will kinda "buck" when it engages, whether it be downshifting or up shifting, but especailly noticeable downshifting when i get on the gas. The reason I know it's a tranny problem is cause if i just hold the brake enough to make the brake switch activate, and unlock the torque converter, and then floor it, it NEVER bucks, but shifts smooth like a normal tranny. So what do you guys think? THe car has 93k on it. Tranny fluid and filter were just changed by me, and there was no sings of abnormal wear in the pan or fluid.
