i wanted to go th400 but i found a th350 cheap enough it perked my interest but it says its short shaft (which i believe is what i want) but it says its the buick olds pontiac... will it bolt to my 355 LT1?

Not without an adapter plate if it is a "true" BOP bolt pattern. There were multi bolt or universal bolt pattern pattern TH350's, which means it will bolt up to almost any GM motor. If it is not the universal bolt pattern then stick with the Chevrolet bolt pattern, they are easy to find.

yeah but not for 175 bucks with all sorts of goodies already done to it guy just wants it out of the garage... it was in a 1980 cutlass
