TCC lockup problem

Hoping that someone here can help with this. I recently installed a 4L60E from a '95 B-body into a '94 Z28. I chose to run a wire for the PWM control of the TCC rather than pinning the valve & unplugging the solenoid. And of course I loaded a '95 file so that it can control the TCC.

Problem that I'm seeing is that the TCC seems to cycle on & off rapidly (1-2 seconds) when cruising at about 45-50 mph. I checked the file & the TCC engage is set for 46 mph & disengage set for 44 mph in 4th gear with relatively low load. When I had it at about 70 mph on the highway, it seemed as though it was staying locked up.

Also, I will do some further testing but I don't think it is locking up in 3rd gear and from what I see in the programming, it should be. One other thing; I believe that it was a bit low (quart or so) on fluid when it was acting up. Could that be the cause? I haven't driven it since filling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That must be too tight between the parameters. Stock is 58 to engage and 44 to disengage. I had mine engaging at 45 but releasing around 35 which seemed to work OK.

46/44 is not "too tight".

The lockup is split into TPS %, so you need to know what % throttle the difficulty is occurring.

46/44 is stock and 58/44 is stock, but so is 77/44. It all depends on TPS %.

I thought the performance tables were only for the model that has the performance switch (firebird?).

I don't see anyone referencing performance mode tables in this thread. What I posted above is from the normal mode tables.

Even the Camaros that don't have the switch, still have the performance mode tables in the PCM.
