T-56 swap?

I have a 94 firebird and I have a great performing auto in there now with a 10in coan 2800 converter superior shift kit hd built. I also have an extra 4l60e with a slipping 3-4 clutch that is a maddog stage 2 trans. My dds for the last few years have been sticks and I considering doing a T-56 swap in the future.

First off just throwing this out there! does anyone want to trade my great running auto and my stage 2 maddog for a T-56 swap?

second-who has done the swap, how cheap can you do it and how hard is it? everything should bolt right up correct?

Re: T-56 swap?

its a project that can nickle and dime the hell out of you...you can google search everything you will need and im actually parting my 96 right now, the trans is shot and in need of a rebuild but you need a slave cylinder, pedals, clutch, flywheel, pressure plates, the lines and connections to the trans itself its a big project to tackle, if youre up to it ill sell you everything you will need, minus the trans obviously unless you want to rebuild it
