Rear end housing question.....

So doing a clutch swap on my 2k. I started to pull the torque arm. When I pulled the rear bolt on the diff/torque arm, diff fluid leaked out, like a decent bit. 4-6 oz... The pinion seal might be leaking a little but like this.

Has anyone heard of the housing cracking and leaking in the bolt hole? Or do you guys think its just pinion seal and it was cakes in covered with dirt so the inside stayed fresh.
