Street Twin installed = Holy crap!! Got some ??
Re: Street Twin installed = Holy crap!! Got some ??
I have a carbon fiber driveshaft, so I think I'm petty good as far as the driveshaft is concerned. But, I do not expect my poor old 10-bolt to last that long, no hard launches or mad power shifting until I can replace the stock rearend. I'm saving for a strange 12-bolt or a Fab 9" from Billingsly Racing, that should take care of my weak rearend.

FWIW the spline in the yoke is what's going to twist.. not the shaft itself.. and personally i wouldn't want a composite driveshaft either in a drag application either.. when you get your upgraded rear i would def. look into either a denny's or a Spohn d.s both meatier unit's.. Good luck w/ your new clutch.. you have just gotten the last one you'll ever need
only 325 to rebuild it as well..

Does breaking tranny/ds/and rear happen from shifting hard once you get to a rolling start? Well, i'm sure it does... but how likely is that to happen?
