Stock cooler enough for TH350?

Living in NY, there is sometimes traffic

Do you guys think that the stock tranny cooler for a 76 (which originally had my old engine rated at 140hp) is enough for a 350/350 combo?

I don't want it to run too cold but to have it overheat??? Should I get an external cooler?

If you install a high stall converter you should also install a tranny cooler.

It's a brand new stock TH350 torque converter, not a stall converter...

You'd probably be ok, but you can get a cheap external cooler from Summit or Jeg's. But like Rich said, if you ever get a stall converter, you should definitely get an external cooler.
