Slave Cylinder, Street twin Master Cylinder

Well, i finally ordered the street twin.
I was wondering if there is anyway i can test my Slave cylinder to make sure its still working like it should.
Also where can i get JUST the Slave. Thanks



Also, how do i go about bleeding evertyhing after i put the Mcleod master cylinder.

I don't think its possible to get just the slave. I'm pretty sure GM only sells the whole hydraulic assembly. Install University has a writeup on the McLeod master cylinder install HERE. Granted its for an LS1, but it has a procedure for bench bleeding which should be the same for both LS1s and LT1s. After bench bleeding, I assume you just bleed it on the car like your normally would. Let us know how the install goes.

I got just the slave from a local parts store, I think it was around 70-80$ bucks? I saw no reason to buy the whole damn thing from GM since I got the awsome adjustable one with the kit.

Maybe try Murray's or AutoZone. Just call em up on the phone...
