s60 question

i just got my new s60 in the mail today. i expected it to come painted black like the pics... but i guess they come bare... my question is what should i coat it with? the axle tubes are smooth, and the center is cast so its rough. i know por 15 works good on rough surfaces, but it wont stick to the tubes... so what should i coat it with? just epoxy primer and paint it? i kinda wanted something a little storonger than that... thanks guys!!

Ditto with the Strange 12-bolt - unpainted. I used a Rustoleum silver hammertone on the center section, and a gloss black on the rest of it. Just stripped it with degreaser, and painted, no primer. 11 years later, its got a few rust spots on areas I missed.

no s*** 11 years?! must be some good stuff! did you brush it on or spray it on? i like the silver center section idea. i may just go with the rustoleum.. were your axle tubes smoothe? did you scuff them up pretty good for that stuff to stick? thanks for the help!

anyone else with the s60 that can comment on the umi torque arm??

thanks guys!
