reverse lock out gone bad
What do you mean it's gone...need alittle more info.
Does it let you go into rev. while driving, or does it not let you go into rev. at all?
Just some fyi, when the rev. lockout solenoid is energized, it will allow you to go into reverse, not the other way around. Meaning, if you were to disconnect the wires to it, you will not be able to go into reverse (well you actually still can, you just have to force the shifter over). Just wanted to clarify that, cause there is alot of misconception on how the rev. lockout works.
BTW, Mine sticks once and awhile and screws me up as I try to shift into 5th.

Fuse locations vary by year. Shoebox's 95 wiring diagram shows that the skip shift, reverse lockout, EEC solenoid and EGR solenoid are all driven off fuse #6 in the underhood panel. Might also just be a loose connector on the solenoid. Or a loose pin (D6) on the PCM.

Suggestion.... include basic info, like year of car, trans and major mod's in a "signature"..... makes it a lot easier for people to try and help.
According to my Chilton's, in the 93's the reverse lockout solenoid is supplied by fuse #6. It is actuated (grounded) off of pin B1 on the ECM (light green wire).
Could have a problem with the fuse, the solenoid or the wire.
