Rebuilding a street twin?
Ok i might be buying a mcleod street with 1800 miles on it that needs a rebuild.(how with only 1800 miles idk?)where could i get this rebuilt at and how much does it usally cost?

They had mine for 2 months, and it was $400 which included the master being rebuilt, but instead they just gave me a brand new master.
They did not send any directions with it either, no torque specs, nothing.
Oh, and you might want to shave an 1/8" off the T-bolt for the fork while you have the trans out. Found out about that "Fairly common" problem when I called Mcleod and they told me the trans has to come out to fix it like it was no big deal.
