just had a new clutch installed about a month and a half ago in a '96 z28. Now, the car makes a loud metallic ticking noise when the clutch is out. When depressed, the noise goes away. Since i had warranty on the clutch where i had it installed, i took it to them this morning. The bill is $1,345.00 I need front and rear seals, input shaft and/ or bearing (cant remember what he said), and some kind of other shafts or bearings. Besides that, the tranny works great. Shifts hard and smooth. Is fixing it worth it? Or should i look for another tranny....??? Thanx for any help
