Problem with Clutch/Tranny

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Heres the problem, i was driving down the street the other day and stopped at a light. The car was a little harder than usual to put in first but when i got it in with the clutch to the floor the rpms dropped a little and the car started moving foreward. Since then the car has progressively gotten worse. I can BARELY get it in gear and now when i stop i have shut off the car to put it in gear. With the car running i put the clutch to the floor and try to put it in 1st and when i try to push it in the car rolls foreward but the car isnt in gear yet.... The cars impossible to drive now, i just oredered an adjustable master for it and im hopin it might help out...

Its a 95 LT1 T56 with a MCleod Disk and a Custom PP by Pro-Motion.

Re: Problem with Clutch/Tranny

You need to verify you have fluid in the clutch reservoir and that your slave cylinder is not leaking. The McLeod adjustable master cylinder uses your slave cylinder.

Full of fluid an NO leaks... Any chance the slave could still be bad? I'd rather do them at the sane time if needed.

Re: Problem with Clutch/Tranny

I was able to buy only the slave cylinder at a local parts store for around $70. Check with the GM discount sources (Dal, Jason Cromer), years ago a purchased the entire master/slave/reservoir for $83.

Done installing adj master and new slave bled about 4o37509265 times. Car no longer rolls while in gear with clutch to floor, but is still extremely hard to get in gear... any ideas?
