My car is making a noise from the rear. Im pretty sure it's a wheel bearing. I thought now would be a good time to put some 3.42s in. What kind of posi came stock in a 95Z. Is there a code or something I could look for. Im looking at Auburn and Eaton Posi's. Any Suggestions. Thanks for the insight

 

Stock was a cone style.
If you are looking for aftermarket, go with an Eaton - clutch stye that is rebuildable or a Torsen (SP?) from a later model (I beleive stock on SS)

I switched to a later style from a blazer with a locker type posi when I wore out the stock posi unit.
