Hya, recently had a P1870, Boo. I hope I fixed it, I purchased a rebuilt Valve Body with a "P1870" fix from a tranny shop. Once installed (damn checkballs) I put the car in reverse and rolled back. Put it in drive and rolled forward. Back into reverse, and got on it in drive "THUMP!" Sounded like the tailshaft of the tranny was going to come up through the console.

When I was under the car I could see the driveshaft wore the paint off from where it could be hitting...

Anyone have a fix?

-Trans Mount?
-P1870 still? (No code yet, its only been running for about 5 minutes tho)

 

Sounds like a broken mount, or the bolts are loose.

Went out and got a mount today with a "limited Lifetime warrentee" aslong as I don't "race" it I get a lifetime of replacements lol.
