my posi is smoked is it possible to replave the clutches or do i have to buy a new unit?

Our cars have auburn style carriers. No clutches, the gears actually bite into the carrier itself. Eaton posi's are rebuildable, but you have to swap, no rebuilding. Sux doesn't it.
