no 3rd gear in th350

no 3rd gear in th350

Any ideas?
cheetah manual VB, other than that all new seals, clutches/steels etc.

well well well, stupid me, never read the directions.

I installed the billet modulator plug, but removed the valve and tossed it.....bad move. Now I need to find a valve since I put this together in 2002. So I ordered one. Chances are I fried the clutches in the process....

Thats what happens when you don't pay attention

Man, I didn't even get a chance to reply to your PM from earlier...LOL Yup, I'd say you found the problem, and yes, I'd be willing to bet the thirds are fried.

Blue is the way to go. We just pulled the TH350 out of our '70 Camaro a few months ago. After 4 years of running 10.8's, the 3rds still looked great. We figured around 250 runs on it. We're going to a transbrake TH400 this year. Later in the season, we might start experimenting with a 700R4 in it.
