I have no 3rd or 4th gear, I have done put 3 transmission in and its still doing the same thing. It all started after i put my new motor in, It didnt seem like it wanted to go into 4th, now there is no 3rd. So could this mean i have a wiring problem or could this be something wrong with my tune? Ive only had a base tune done. The first tune it didnt seem to want to go into 4th, and few days after it stopped going into 3rd. So i took my PCM and had re tune and still didn't help any. Had someone build a transmission and it's going into 3rd in 4th but at really HIGH rpm's.. What could be the problem ? Thanks everyone for the help, Very much needed..

Have you scanned the PCM for tranny codes - there are a few of them, and they don't turn on the SES light.

No, but i took it to a transmission shop and had them look at it and they said the transmission wasn't bad and that there was a few burnt wires which i fixed and still nothing. Also i tried to hook up my hand tuner to put hook up under the dash, and for some reason it wouldn't come on. I don't no if it was cause there is something wrong with my PCM making it not work, or maybe my tuner is F up.... Thanks for the reply by the way.

What year is your car.... it's almost impossible to offer reliable advice without that basic info? What you use to scan the car, and the reason for not connecting is dependant on the year.

Why not add a "Signature" with basic info about your car - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. Helps people help you.
