new drive shaft

At 63mph and 68mph my car gets a vibration I'm prity sure it is the drive shaft and I was wanting to know if the drive shaft from a 99 camaro ss will fit? I was wanting to know b/c the new ones are aluminum which means a little less wieght

Also I know this should be posted on the drive train tech but the last few posts Ive made didnt get answered to well so I posted here b/c I knew it would get answered

Thanks

Yes, the 98-02 LS1 driveshaft will work on your car.

PLEASE post in the correct forum. If everyone would follow the rules, there would be more traffic on the forum, and questions would get answered.

i think there should be a sticky saying that all f-body driveshafts from 1982 to 2002, automatic and manual tranny, are the same size and 100% interchangeable

some of us consider it common knowledge, but obviously not eveyone knows

just my 2 cents

Yes I had always been under that impresion to (that all drive shafts are interchangable in 4th gen f-bodys) but the place I'm buying it from said they didn't think it would work so I just thought I would ask on here to make sure they were wrong

Thanks again

I'd also check to see if your exhaust hangers is tight and hangers are not broken and also maybe get your wheels balanced before spending $$ if I were you... These might be the problems as well and they are definately much cheaper solutions.
