M6-A3(th350) help.
i'm sure this might get moved to one of the tranny sections, but i kind of want lt1 specific help. all of my 6 speed parts are out of the car (1993 z28). i'm in no particular time frame of putting the car back together, but i want to have all the parts for the conversion at hand when i begin. the biggest concerns that i have are wiring issues of the old clutch start switch, nuetral saftey switch, and reverse lights.
if some has a link to a write up, or a sticky on this, i would appreciate it.
personal experience is also VERY welcome.

p.s.- correct me if i'm wrong, but the 9" th350 is a direct fit to the old t56 driveshaft length?

Search for the swap on LS1tech in the auto section. They have some write ups.
As far as reverse wiring, it will depend on the shifter. My B/M came with a switch to wire in the back up lights and a reverse lock out. For the neutral safety switch you can just bi pass the switch...Connect the wires together so it can start all the time, or it can be wired into the reverse lock out that only allows the car to be started in neutral or park.
And I believe you are right about the long tail shaft th350s. They should be the same length, but always double check once it's in the car.
More very detailed info can be found by searching our drivetrain forum or the LS1tech automatics forum.
