lt1 - posi

I recently purchased my first 4th gen f-body, and admittedly, know next to nothing about them. I don't believe it has posi, but in a conversation with a friend a few days back, he mentioned that they came stock with them. Can anyone fill me in? The car is a 1995 Trans Am.

From: Hell was full so they sent me to NJ
All V8 4th Gens had a posi rear as standard equipment. Look at the build code tag for RPO "G80".

Nope, 93-98s came stock with Auburn clutch type posis and 99-02s came with Torsens. Some SLP optioned cars are the exception to the rule.
