Thumbs up LT1 Mcleod Clutch MASTER/SLAVE setup part numbers and info.

Mcleod produces a superior Master AND slave cylinder made from billet aluminum by Wilwood!

Not just the master but the slave too!
I never knew this and I dont think a lot of people do... There isn't a picture of it anywhere online. Most vendors actually show the master cylinder for all the pictures I have been able to dig up. There are no pictures of the slave... Talk about hidden!

139001 - Metal adjustable master cylinder with hardware for 93-02 F-body
139024 - Metal Slave cylinder for pull type clutches

I talked to Mcleod and found out that they actually do make a metal slave cylinder and I have never once seen a picture of the piece. They include the metal master cylinder with their clutch because it is absolutely necessary (had to drop $330 on one) But they also make a metal slave cylinder for about $250. Never knew they made this part too... Figured this was good info for all doing the t56 swap or replacing a stock p.o.s. gm plastic slave.

I never heard anyone mention this option before and haven't found another post about it. This slave is probably a lot nicer then the gm plastic piece that leaks all too often. I am happy I had the money to buy the metal master, now when the slave goes I will know what to buy to have the matching set!

When my Master arrives I will post very nice clear pictures of it and doing the swap.

Sweet. Good info. Maybe this thread will not get locked. Someone needs a vacation imo.
