I blew my spider gears at the track.. the people around here are on much crack and want much to install one.. lets say the cheapest was about 275.. Im not dropping a dime into this rear if im getting a 9" soon.. but the car isnt very driveable and im sure wll eventually go out. I have bought a new GM posi like the one i already have.. I have inspected the old one and its just the spider gears, the ring and pinion are fine and the whole rear was rebuilt about 3600 miles ago, im not worried about bad bearings.. The pinion depth has already been set.. i know how to get the old posi out and all... but how do i get the new one in?? What guages do i need? The ring will be swapped onto the new posi and i will be using new bearings aswell..
