How easy should the output shaft turn? 700r4

How easy should the output shaft turn? 700r4

I can't turn it with my hand, but I can put the driveshaft over it and it turns just fine. With a little resistance.

sounds normal. should turn easy one way and with a little more resistance the other unless in park, But either way wont be to difficult

Yes, that's exactly what it does! Would it be the opposite if it was in reverse?
