How to do "Resistor trick"

To eliminate CAGS I heard you can just buy a 2.2k ohm resitor and "plug" it into the solenoid on the tranny. How exactly do you "plug" it on or attach it to the tranny? I was just wondering how some of you guys connected it, any help would be awesome. Thanks!

Simplu unplugg the seliniod connetor, bend the resister in the shape of a U and plug it into the connector IE one end of the resister in one side of the connector and the other end in the other side. then take the whole thing abd bend it back against the connector and use tome elec tape to secure it. then use a zi[ strap to hold the wire up. works great
