How can I understand it is Viper Specs T56 ?

Viper specs T56 from D&D Performance for my 97 Z28 ..
I didn't directly order, my friends' friend ordered for me and I got it yesterday. Is there an easy way to understand that it is the Viper Specs T56 ??

I don't want to break it if its not viper specs and I will send it back.

thanks

The most important Viper spec is the output shaft spline count. The OEM GM T56 has 27 spline and the Viper has 31. This is an important change that you will need to have if you expect to launch your car hard on sticky tires. It will require you to get a Mopar yoke for your driveshaft. It's the best T56 upgrade one can make IMO cause the 27 spline shaft has a nasty habit of twisting off. Other internal changes are steel shift forks intead of aluminum. There may be some syncro upgrades in there as well.

I think its 26spline for GM T56, and 30spline for viper T56. Anyway so can I understand it is viper specs or not by counting spline right? Where should I count?

I guess I am missing something, but where to count the splines on the output shaft is on the output shaft The input shaft is at the front of the tranny and the output shaft is at the rear. It meshes with the driveshaft yoke.
