Help Quick Please in the midle of install, remove rear springs before Torque arm?

Help Quick Please in the midle of install, remove rear springs before Torque arm?

is it really necessary to remove the rear coil springs in order to remove the transmission? or more directly the Torque arm? the book says so but i want your guys' opinion please be quick i am in the middle of install right now.

I doubt you'd need to remove the springs to get the torque arm out. Just lower the axle a bit for clearance, and see if you can wiggle the torque arm out. You should be able to.

You don't have to remove the springs, but it is easier if you do remove the torque arm. Worst case you will have to remove the front torque arm mount from the tranny.

i didn't have to remove it. i just jecked up the rear end a little in order to get the bolts fully out and tehn stepped back and pushed it off. everything worked out a-ok with the springs in
