Help with installing Autometer electric trans temp gauge

Found a good deal on one today, it's an Autometer Phantom Series electric gauge for my trans temp. It's never been used, he has all the fittings that it came with, but no instructions or anything. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Where can I mount the sender and how? Also, given that I have a pretty good trans cooler, what should I look for temperature wise?

AutoMeter Install Instructions

Look at the "electric temperature" writeup for the diameter gauge you have.

I believe the 4L60E has a test plug on the passenger side of the case that can be removed, to install a temperature sensor.
