Unhappy Grand Prix Transmission whine, please help if you can.

I know this is a f body site but people on this site are pretty smart and i'm hoping someone has some ideas. I have a 01 Grand Prix GT with 90,000 on it the trans mission is making a whine, it seems louder as you decelerate. The fluid looks good and doesn't smell burnt. I bout this car with 30,000 and maybe floored it to pass a car 10 x. It does have a diferent pitch when you turn the steering wheel. It seems to shift good although once or twice sometime ago it seemed to shudder coming out of passing gear. I did change out the drivers side wheel bearing thinking thats where it was coming from but no go. What can I do I was hoping to keep it for another year then trade it. Any ideas will be of great help.
Thanks

4T60E's are known for the final drive (differential) planetaries coming apart.
