Everything I have read about the Gov Loc indicates is more like a locker than a limited slip, with sudden/harsh engagement, and likely to grenade if abused. I think they used these in the S10 pickups.

Im a little late on this, but DO NOT buy it.

They are terrible for anything other then a stock application in a truck/suv. They grenade under power, they require spin to lock, and they are useless above 25 mph. Get a clutch style posi.
