I am getting ready to put my LE1/cc 502(218/224) 355 in but am wanting to do get a set of gears in the car that will compliment this engine setup0 further. quick and easy 3.73, 3.90 or 4.10 what is best going to suit this setup in a 95 z28?

 

If the car is to remain N/A, my vote is for some 4.10's.

It is hard to find 3.90 gears anymore, and some rear ends (like Mosier) don't even offer anything in between 3.73's and 4.10's.

If you plan on using nitrous, or someday running a blower, or turbo, I then would reccomend going with 3.73's, or possibly lower depending on the power level.

i am on a stock 10 bolt with 3:42 gears currently. I plan to stay NA for a long while. This car is not my daily and do not generally drive my car very hard(nitto DR's on occasion) but am still mildly concerned with the strength of 4.10s. should i be making this a concern?

 

I would reccomend getting a gertle for your stock rear. If all you plan on do is drving it on DR's, and even then, not too hard very often, your rear should hold up okay, even with 4.10's. If you put slicks on though, that will probably be the breaking point.
