ET Streets/10 bolt

I know of people saying its ok to run ET streets with your stock 10 bolt in a Automatic car but im jsut want to know, stock i mean, not even a posi unit in it or gears and such not. I have 77,000 miles on the rear end, and i dont think the gear oil has ever been changed.

Should i be ok running ET Streets?

How many people are rigth now and what kinds of mods?

Will changing my gear oil and putting more limited slip additive in help prolong the life of it?

Mods: 2800 vig, trans go 3 washer, IAT relocater, UDP, Cut out, custom magnaflow catback, CAI..... I need suspention

With a conveter and tires you will blow up the rear....only a matter of time. Dont chance it unless your ready to purchase a 9" or 12 bolt or have a spare 10bolt lying arround.
Gear oil change will not help you.
Nothing can help you with the exception of a solid pinon spacer,HD carrier, Good set of gears......but even at that your only prolonging the reality of what will happen!!
It's been said a million times over 10 BOLTS SUCK!! and its olny a matter of times before it gernades on you!! What do you expect out of a S-10 rear

IMO if you have an A4 go with slicks M6 Stay with street tires.. I run 26X11.5 MT ET STREETS on my 95 TA spraying a 150 shot out of the box.. 1.63 60ft times.. I did break 1 gear set (3.73) no girdle and the stock crush sleave. Now I have 3.23 gears and solid pion suport and rear end girdle and have made alot of passes like this. Just when you do your burn out to heat the tires up get them wet power break it or linelock the front tires and sping the tires untill you think they are good to go then let off the gas when the tires stop spining pull to the line.

My posi went out a couple months ago and it only had 134,000mi. and countless 1/4 mi. passes. It even had over 20 mid to low11sec. passes, some 1.5 60's in a 3700lb car. I replaced it with an SLP unit and I hope its strong enough for the new task at hand and a 200shot With an uto you will be fine but anyhting can break. I run ET drags that hook alot harder than et streets too. Later
