dyno w/ a4

Last time I went to the dyno, I had a issue with the trans downshifting and flashing and not being able to get a full pull. Wanted to know what everyone has done while making pulls with an A4.

Thanks Buck

Your sig says "built A4". What exactly is done to it? Does it have a vacuum modulator conversion?

You basically have to figure out at what RPM in 3rd gear you can go WOT without it down shifting, the dyno operator should have known this and done this on the dyno for you last time.

I am not sure what is done to the trans other than new bands and internal stuff. To the dyno person, I help him operate it on the weekends and him and I were scratching our heads. I took it up to the point before it shifts it self and took it to 100% and it still down shifted. ????

Thanks Buck
