DTC 28 trany code

I am getting a DTC 28

Transmission Range (TR) pressure switch assembly fault

I have a 93 with a 4L60. It shifts kind of funny. Shifts to early and doesn't down shift well, I have the TV cable adjusted right. The trans was rebuilt about 1.5 years ago by AAMCO before I got the car. What does this code mean? How do I go about fixing it?

Thank You

Taylor

In the "93" setup, DTC 28 is a failure of one of the "Quad Driver" circuits. Not sure if that equates to the same code interpretation as the 94+ PCM code list, which you appear to be using. Maybe there is a 1-to-1 correlation on the 93 vs. 94+ codes, but someone with a 93 needs to confirm this.

93 DTC code list is slightly different.
