just got my new 12 bolt in and it keeps making a popping noise, is this normal

 

Which brand 12-bolt? If it is a Moser, did you add the LSD additive when you put the gear lube in?

When does it "pop"..... under load, under decel, at steady load cruise, going straight, turning corners?????

 

turning corners, its a strange, and yes added 1 bottle of lsd additive.

 

Did you get a "heavy duty" posi unit.... sometimes they will chatter on corners, even with the LSD. But my Strange, with the "super strength" posi made no noise at all.

I thought Strange shipped with the LSD additive already in there.
