Clutch in LS1 F-bodies the same as vettes?

My brother purchased a 99 C5 6 speed in the fall. He has told me about other C5 owners on his forum that have blown their clutch Extremely prematurely. Apparently the stock C5 clutch is very sensitive and if a person drives it wrong, they can burn their clutch with very low mileage.

I'm in the market for an LS1 powered F-body and am just curious as to whether or not the clutch is the same. All i know is that the manual option in both the vette and F-body have the T-56 tranny's, but don't know if the clutch is the same. Plus, i would assume that there are some variations in the two models, probably since the vette's have the tranny in the rear. thanks
