I just got an alum ds and wanted to change the u-joints before I install it. I have seen many retainers but none like the ones on the ds (looks like a nylon tab)...how do I change out the u-joints?

Also, my seal going into the rear from the ds is leaking a little, how do I change it?

 

You have to heat up the u joint and it'll start to crap out the crap that hold's it in there.. the seal i believe might need to have the rear end taken apart to do.. but i'm not really all that sure...

 

So how do I hold the new ones in?
