Carburated swap?

Hey guys how are ya? Im new here and I have a situation. Im plannin on buying a 1994 Firebird or Camaro and putting a carburated 350 in it. I have a few questions....can i use either of the trannys that come with the car (auto, 5 or 6 speed)? Also, will I be able to keep my guages working? (speedometer, gas, temp, etc.) any help is appreciated...any tips or things to stay away from or look out for?? thanks in advance.
