I got a used zexel torsen for about 125 bucks out of a newer camaro. Replaced the old Auburn unit when I had my gear swap done. So far it is holding up awesome, and I can finally lay rubber down with both wheels.

or check the for sale sections on this site and a few others, they pop up quite alot it seems.

 

does it always mean rear end shot??

I turned right after a stop sign gave it a shot and one wheel let go,, usually it breaks both loose.

 

That's how mine acted when it was dying. One wheel peel turning right, lights 'em both up turning left, and both spinning MOST of the time straight. A mechanic friend (he also builds mud boggers) said I'd probably find some springs broken in one side of the LSD.

 

ok well I tested the posi today again!!! I did a burnout on overdrive and it spun both wheels? But on drive it spun only one wheel!!! Weird! Mayb they didnt add that posi traction liquid when I did the diff oil change?

 

Ok I bought a used aurburn 28 spline posi. Lets see how that goes.
