I have felt both shifters. The Ripper is the best on the market. Hands down!

I've got one, and while I'm technically "new" to the T56 game (only been in the car about ~4 months ) it works well for me . 3rd gear is surprisingly hard to miss!!

My buddy also has a B&M Ripper in his car ('97 Z28) and he's pulled off a 13.7 in the 1/4 mile, with NO MODS except for the shifter!! (I think that's good for an LT1 ).

I know a lot of guys praise their Pro-5.0's, but I don't think that the B&M is a sub-standard unit ... unfortunately I don't have experience with anything other than the B&M, so I can't make a comparison ... all I can say is that it works well for me .

I've had my B&M 4 years now. Awesome shifter. If its not the best, it is one of the best shifters available for the T-56.
