B&M Deep Transmission pan?

Is it really worth spending $110 on a Deep Transmission pan for my 4l60E, or is it not worth it? Thanks ahead of time for the info.

The extra fluid capacity can't hurt. I'd make sure to get an aluminum pan rather than the chromed pans though. The chromed ones are el cheapo. Also make sure it's got a drain plug...sadly I've seen some that do not.

I wouldn't bother. A good cooler will do a lot more. I am running a stock GM pan on my TH400. Even with >800rwhp and a fairly loose converter (4,200 stall) it never gets above 180-190 degress with the B&M "Hi-Tek" cooler.

Very easy to install because it doesn't need to be directly in the air stream (integral fan) and it's very compact. I think it was ~$170.
