a4 tranny fluid change????

the tranny was rebuilt earlier this year and I am planning on going to a synthetic....Which it had in it previously , before rebuild.....Ho do I need to go about the change.....Have it completely flushed and then refill....?????
I think there is a place in town that has a machine to pull the old fluid out as it refills with new fluid....That the best way to go....if Not what should I do???

Yes I would take all the old stuff out before I switched to synthetic. Different types of oils in there might cause weird things to happen.
4L60Es are picky... I found out the hard way.
