??? on a A4 to M6 swap

I just installed my M6 pedal assembly in my A4 car without removing the steering column. Can I leave the cable that goes from the auto shifter to the steering column in the car???

As long as it doesn't interfere with anything I don't see an issue with it...

You can remove it without dropping the column. Or leave it but if one day you cant turm the key to start the car, start diging. In my case it interfered with the cluch pedal travel.

Thanks for the info! If I can remove it fairly easy I would think that would be best. I guess I need to take a closer look at how to remove it.

I was able to install the pedals and remove the cable with the column still in place when I did the M6 swap.

Man you are good...I had to drop the column as I could not really see how the cable was attached. Otherwise I put the pedals in with no issues with the column in place.
