it really helps the sotp feel... it doesnt seem that harsh especially since im running an 18in wheel in the rear with 295/45 tires... so it kinda cancels it out to a 3.70 gear ratio....

Traction off the line sucks! Gotta come onto it slow, otherwise they're just like the 3.73's were.....spin, spin, spin all through 1st and 2nd! I'm going to get ET Streets to solve that. They're ok under ~1/2 throttle though.

At almost any given speed (with a couple exceptions) the tranny hardly kicks down 1 gear from where it's already at? However (and I don't know why I never tried this with the 3.73's last year?) if you pull the shifter back 1 gear manually when you punch it, then she goes!!

So of course I've got the itch to go to the track now. I "may" go for T & T tonight, but then again, it might be a waste of time since I'm still running on street tires. But then again, f#(k it.....I wanna go!!
Where ya able to hit the track yet?? I am going to get my 4.10s done this week.

No, I haven't made it to the track yet . Now this Friday night, the weather should be good (Toronto weather ) but friggin' Cayuga is having some big 50th anniversary weekend, so the events may overrule the Friday night Test & Tune??! I hope they still run T & T, cause even though I don't have tires yet, I think I'm gonna go!
