my transmission is shuddering ( shaking the car, and making a grinding sound ) when it shifts to 2nd. It won't do it if you give a little gas, let off then give it more.

We pulled the pan and there wasn't any metal in the bottom, just normal band wear. The tranny fluid was full. We replaced 2 solenoids in the back of the transmission ( I thought these where the the 1 to 2 and 2-3 ones ) but everything I see say's the Front of the Body. Don't know if I replaced the right ones or not. This is a stock tranny.



Well anyway, if anyone has any ideals about what is going on please reply

I hate to see my baby up on jack stands..................

 

Have you checked the mounts etc under the car?
