6 point clutch?

I am going to replace my clutch shortly and I came across this clutch on ebay that is not completly round it has 6 points. See this link:

My car is a 96 3.8L engine and only has some mild mods. The one I was looking at say it has 30% more holding power. Is there anything I need to worry about with a 6 point clutch. What is the purpose of not having it completly circular?

I am going to go with either this one ($156) or an Exedy one I found on Amazon for $140 because I don't have much money to spend on it.
